BIM LIBRARY DEVELOPER

Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), an international cross-disciplinary architecture and interior design practice based in Milan, Italy, is looking for a BIM Library Developer to join its team in Milan.

ACPV is looking for an Architect to be included in our BIM department as Library Developer.

The successful candidate will support the team by:

  • developing and maintaining the internal bim component library
  • helping the BIM management to develop company standards
  • assisting the BIM management with staff training

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, meticulous and result-driven. We want someone who is able to manage deadlines and work accurately.

Further requirements:

  • Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and especially of the family environment is a prerequisite and essential.
  • You must have basic knowledge of Excel. English fluency is required.
  • Dynamo and coding skills are appreciated.
  • A good knowledge of architecture and interior design will be an advantage.

BIM COORDINATOR

Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), an international cross-disciplinary architecture and interior design practice based in Milan, Italy, is looking for a BIM Coordinator to join its team in Milan.

ACPV is looking for an Architect to be included in our BIM department as BIM Coordinator.

The successful candidate will support the team by:

  • BIM Project Setup and Maintenance according to Company Standards.
  • BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM projects data sets/workflows.
  • Maintenance project BIM execution plans and technical documentation.
  • Run BIM Coordination Meetings between different project consultants.
  • Establish BIM Coordination workshops and report progress at the Project Design Team meetings.
  • Creation and maintenance of Complex Parametric Revit Families.
  • To produce and maintain Dynamo Scripts to improve design workflows.
  • Provide one-to-one training on ‘Best Practice’ workflows to project teams.
  • Provide technical support for BIM enabling software applications to the project team.
  • Liaise with company BIM Management to develop and maintain Firm BIM Standard.
  • To contribute or otherwise assist as required.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, meticulous and result-driven. We want someone who is able to manage deadlines and work accurately. In-depth knowledge of Revit, Naviswork and Dynamo is a prerequisite and essential. Knowledge of the following is an advantage: Python, C# or general coding skills.

Further requirements:

  • Experience in multidisciplinary design coordination in an advantage.
  • Master Degree in Architecture or similar.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team
  • 2+ Years of experience as Bim Coordinator.
  • 3+ Years of working experience with Revit as the primary tool.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English is mandatory.

REVIT ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN OR BUILDING ENGINEER

Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), an international cross-disciplinary architecture and interior design practice based in Milan, Italy, is looking for a Revit architectural technician or building engineer to join its team in Milan.

The suitable candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role at a larger creative services organization. Ability to work in Italy is mandatory.

About you:
You should be a good communicator, self-motivated, and willing to work at a large international architecture and interior design practice with a solid reputation. You should support our engineering team in controlling project costs, in improving the BIM modeling process, and in defining architectural specifications.

The role will involve a range of activities including:
• project management
• checking developing designs against the project budget
• preparing construction costs documents
• good knowledge of Italian building regulations, construction systems, processes and legislation
• good knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and architectural specifications
• knowledge of classification systems such as Uniclass2015
• high level knowledge in building information modeling

Software Skills
Our practice works exclusively with BIM software (Revit), the following skills are mandatory:
• at least 3 year of professional experience of Revit
• ability to create and manage Revit schedule, filter, parameter and annotation
• knowledge of Adobe Design Suite software is an advantage
• good knowledge in STR Vision
• knowledge of Primus is an advantage but not required
• knowledge of Naviswork/Solibri
• knowledge of IFC Models
